BUILD-DIVIDE -#000000- CODE BLACK (Original Japanese Version)

One day, Teruto Kurabe is wandering around the city with a piece of bread in his hand, and discovers a girl named Sakura Banka who is being attacked by a thug, so he uses the power of a mysterious card in his possession to save her.

Teruto reluctantly accepts Sakura’s offer to take part in Rebuild Battles. While they are walking in the city together, she realizes that Teruto is wearing a uniform from Komoku Academy, which is the same school she is a student of.

After battling Teruto, Hiyori pleads to become Teruto’s disciple, and follows Teruto and Sakura around. In order to obtain more chips, Teruto and the crew head to a place which is rumored to be where Build-Divide players gather.

Teruto now has eight chips in his possession after claiming victory against Naomitsu. Sakura goes to meet Teruto so they can find Rebuild Battle challengers. When she gets there, she discovers that Hiyori has asked Teruto to give her special Build-Divide training.

Teruto loses his steam after being defeated by Kikka and spends his time in a daze. He doesn’t have the drive to win like he did before, not only because he lost to Kikka who is his younger sister, but because he also found out that she is now the King of Neo Kyoto.

One day, while Teruto is resting in his tent, an injured Naomitsu collapses in front of him. Sakura asks him what happened, and he explains that he just battled Dairo Keisen, also known as the “Card Professor”.

A virtual beach called the Kamitoba Beach Resort has opened in Neo Kyoto! Hiyori wants to go to the beach because she has never experienced one in real life.

At Kamitoba Beach Resort, Teruto meets Ai Utsurogi from the bakery, who turns out to be a childhood acquaintance of his. When he visits AI’s bakery, she tells Teruto about her memories of him and Kikka during their childhood.

After regaining all of his memories, Teruto focuses on taking part in Rebuild Battles so that he can reach Kikka as soon as possible. When he is one card away from completing the key, a boy in elementary school named Mikhail Saiki challenges him to a match.

Using the key completed by Teruto, Sakura challenges the King. The reason why she wanted to challenge Kikka was to make her wish come true - to regain her own body. Since she was unable to take part in Rebuild Battles on her own, she tricked Teruto into fighting in the battles to complete the key for her, so she could appear before the King.

After Sakura’s battle ends, Teruto announces that it is his turn to face Kikka. Kikka is overcome with joy when Teruto says that this is no longer a Rebuild Battle, but a fight between brother and sister.

While battling Kikka, Teruto remembers why he has such a strong desire to battle the King. Teruto recalls the truth of Neo Kyoto he saw in “Kyoto” and the true meaning of the King.
