Humari Adhuri Kahani centres around the story of a hardworking single mother, Vasudha (Vidya Balan) and a billionaire hotel baron, Aarav (Emraan Hashmi). Aarav falls hopelessly in love with Vasudha, who reminds him of his mother. Vasudha slowly falls for him as well and they are soon betrothed.
