The Supervet

Adorable toy poodle Monty is the centre of Dave and Di's world.  The two-year-old was already showing huge promise in agility when during a walk in the park a larger dog jumped on top of him, damaging his hip joint. And Malamute/Husky Cross rescue Maya she is suffering with osteoarthritis in both hip joints due to dysplasia, and finds walking on three legs increasingly difficult.

In this puppy special, Noel treats seven-month-old Border terrier Kiera, and we look back at springer spaniel Poppy, who had some of the worst leg deformities that Noel had ever seen.

Tea-drinking five-year-old Bedlington Terrier, Muffin, has been referred to Fitzpatricks with a fractured leg. And Marlee, a seven-year-old Rottweiler, is referred to Fitzpatricks after a diagnosis of bone cancer.

We meet adventurous cat, Oz, who broke his ankle dramatically falling from a significant height. Ollie, an eight-month-old Labrador puppy, is rushed to Fitzpatricks as a late-night emergency after being hit by a car. And four-year-old Bull Mastiff Bayleigh is referred to Noel because of a suspicious and painful lump near her ankle.
