Popeye the Sailor

Popeye plays sick to win Olive's attention. / Popeye visits Olive Oyl and discovers her home in turmoil because of a broken water pipe. / Popeye and the Jeep, his magical pet, visit Olive and learn Swee'pea has crawled out of his crib and disappeared.

Popeye dislikes bullfighting, but when Olive makes eyes at him he forgets all and finds himself in the arena with the bull. / As Popeye's ship prepares to sail, Olive falls into a trunk and is carried aboard unnoticed. / Popeye sails in search of his father, Poopdeck, who has been missing for forty years.

It's Olive's first visit to a skating rink, and Popeye accidentally crashes into the pillar to which she is clinging. Popeye manages to rescue Olive in an amusing climax. / Popeye's troubles start when his car unintentionally knocks down a traffic policeman, and he's given a ticket. / Popeye tries to lure customers into his penny arcade at Coney Island.

Olive Oyl works for a movie company writing scripts. In one, she pictures herself as a lovely Princess and Popeye as charming Prince Aladdin.

Popeye, saddened by the sight of dogs in a pet shop, buys them and releases them into the streets. / Popeye has a nightmare in which he is unable to save Olive Oyl from Bluto. / Bluto lures Popeye & Olive to a haunted house.

Popeye meets himself walking down the street toward Olive's house, where he has been invited to a hamburger feast. / Persuaded by Olive Oyl that the public might like them in a different role, Popeye and Bluto attempt to be sophisticated men-about-town. / Swee'pea leaves home after Popeye spanks him.

Popeye replaces Bluto as the lead opposite Olive in a benefit performance of ROMEO AND JULIET. / Olive Oyl's pet goldfish jumps out of his bowl and falls overboard. Popeye dives after the missing pet and the chase is on! / Popeye and Olive Oyl sail off to find the whereabouts of Olive's gold mine.

Popeye and Bluto vie with each other over caring for Swee'pea while Olive visits the beauty parlor. / A modern Stanley and Livingston saga, with Popeye going to Darkest Africa to rescue his pal, Dr. Bluto. / Popeye tries to get a job as a movie stunt man by showing studio executives movies of some of his most daring exploits.

There's plenty of excitement when Popeye takes Olive Oyl out for a driving lesson. / Olive Oyl announces the news that "vaudeville's coming back." Swee'pea, Popeye and Olive rehearse their old-time routines. / Popeye has need of his spinach when he poses as William Tell's son for the big apple-shooting contest, especially when he finds that the old man's aim isn't what it used to be!

Popeye is building a boat when his daddy, Poopdeck Pappy, insists on helping. / It's bedtime, but old Pappy refuses to go and despite Popeye's efforts, the old man sneaks out to a nightclub. / Olive presents Popeye with a cute little puppy, Eugene the Jeep, as a birthday present, with instructions to make him sleep outside.
