Nora's father Leif struggles with concerns about his daughter, while Nora decides to carry on as normal and not talk about it until she knows what it is. But it becomes increasingly difficult to keep up the facade.

Nora undergoes an MRI scan and meets Emil, a cancer patient. Meanwhile, Nora's friends think that Leif is the one with cancer. When he is invited to dinner with the girls, Nora finds it difficult to hide the truth.

Nora keeps her cancer a secret from her colleagues in order to get the position of editor. After the surgery Nora finds strength knowing that whatever it was, it's gone now. But she is soon hit with bad news again.

Nora returns to work to fight for the editor position, but soon Nora realizes that she is losing her hair after the cancer treatment. Alina and Doris consider shaving their hair to show their support.

Even though she is in the middle of her treatment, Nora decides to go on a night out. At the bar, she meets Nattis, who is upset about the article about Petra Mede, and the evening gets out of hand.

Nora is desperately searching for the letter from her mother as she begins to give up on life. Milo, Alina and Doris find it increasingly difficult to deal with the situation, until Doris reads Alina's diary and gets shocked.

The time has come to find out if Nora's cancer treatment has worked. Whatever the outcome, she has decided to celebrate life with a party. Nora opens her mother's letter and receives an unexpected message from work.
