Sabrina is in a new battle for custody of Oakley while coping with her pregnancy. Then, Jeremiah and Carmela want to build a home in Florida, Rebecca wants to go back to school and Mary's father passes away.

Sabrina's plan of having a home birth comes into question when medical concerns are revealed. Jeremiah and Carmela's stresses as new homeowners begin to take a toll on their marriage, and Rebecca continues to take GED classes.

Jeremiah needs alone time with Carmela to help their marriage, and Rebecca's arrival in Florida creates upheaval. Sabrina learns the fate of her parental rights to Oakley and worries her newborn child will also be taken.

Tensions settle as everyone makes up in Florida, and Jeremiah and Carmela meet with a specialist to see if they're able to have a baby. Then, Mary throws Sabrina a baby shower and Sabrina goes into labor a month early.

Mary supports Sabrina at a custody hearing for her newborn baby, and Carmela leaves Jeremiah after an explosive argument. Then, Rebecca takes her GED test and is shocked by Abe's reaction.

Mary takes Jeremiah and Carmela to Las Vegas for the honeymoon they never had, but a fight between Abe and Jeremiah threatens the trip. Later, Rebecca and Sabrina finally come face to face to work out their differences.
