Sugimoto Saichi, a hero of the Russo-Japanese War, and an Ainu girl named Asirpa continue their journey in search of buried Ainu gold. However, in the pursuit of 24 escaped prisoners with tattoos showing the location of the buried gold, new facts emerge. It turns out that the man who is believed to have stolen the buried gold and killed Asirpa's father, Nopperabo, is Asirpa's father.
