My Love from the Stars

University teacher Mitsuru Toyama hasn't aged a day since coming to Earth 400 years ago. 3 months before finally heading home, actress Tsubaki Sasahara moves in next door. Her loud midnight singing disturbs Mitsuru, who has 7 times better hearing than humans. When he goes to confront her, he realizes just how hurt she's been. Meanwhile, Tsubaki's childhood friend Hiroya Uwajima proposes to her.

Mitsuru sees an ominous dream of a stiletto floating in the water. That night, Tsubaki crashes into his room, drunk. He finds her purse and discovers an old photo of her, looking exactly like the girl he saved 400 years ago. He had saved another girl 12 years ago with the same face, and realizes that it was Tsubaki. He sees her wearing the stiletto from his dream, and warns her never to wear them.

Après avoir sauvé Tsubaki, Mitsuru entend une conversation troublante entre Masaya et sa secrétaire. Le lendemain, Reiko est retrouvée morte en mer. While sheltering Tsubaki, Mitsuru's friend Seiichiro Kurachi comes to visit. The reporters leave, and Tsubaki goes home, but she's fired due to the gossip concerning Reiko's death. Meanwhile, Masaya discovers that Tsubaki has the USB containing his dark secret, and comes for it. Mitsuru saves her and finds a camera hidden in a gift from a "fan." Hiroya once again proposes to the desolate Tsubaki.

La famille de Tsubaki lui rend visite et la trouve en train de se disputer avec Mitsuru, son nouveau manager. Elle a rejeté l'offre d'Hiroya, soulageant Mitsuru. Plus tard, Tsubaki est choquée que Yukino ait décroché son rôle principal. Ils se rencontrent et les paroles de Yukino la blessent. Alors qu'elle part, Mitsuru la sauve de la chute d'un vase.

Mitsuru saves Tsubaki from falling off a cliff using teleportation. Tsubaki swears she saw him, but he claims she couldn't have. Meanwhile, Masaya presumes that Mitsuru has the USB and wants it back. Ono and Natsume investigate Reiko's death and find a suicide note in one of her shows, the exact one she'd left behind. They realize the suicide was staged, and Tsubaki's suspicions are cleared.

Tsubaki confesses her love to Mitsuru, but he doesn't give her an answer. He then tells her to meet her at the park, but instead of Mitsuru, it's her father who'd been gone for 12 years. Unbeknownst to Tsubaki, Mitsuru had set it up. Meanwhile, the detectives tell Tsubaki that her suspicions had cleared, and Tsubaki tells them how Reiko had been dating Masaya. Hiroya also begins to suspect Masaya.

Mitsuru dit à Tsubaki qu'il est un extraterrestre, mais elle ne le croit pas. Il dit qu'il la méprise, mais qu'il la repousse car ils doivent se séparer. Hiroya apprend que la femme de Masaya a été enfermée pendant 5 ans. Tsubaki se voit proposer un petit rôle mais le traitement par le froid le blesse. Mitsuru arrive en disant qu'il est venu la protéger.

Il reste 23 jours à Mitsuru. Lui et Tsubaki essaient de vivre ensemble, de créer des souvenirs. Mitsuru décide de rester. Hiroya sauve Risa et apprend que Masaya a tué son frère Fumiya. Demande de l'aide à Mitsuru, mais il refuse. Hiroya affronte Masaya seul, mais alors que le danger approche, Mitsuru apparaît soudainement.

Mitsuru décide de rester sur Terre et part en voyage avec Tsubaki. Tsubaki lui apprend soudainement qu'elle rompt avec lui pour épouser Hiroya. Le cœur brisé, Mitsuru s'apprête à quitter la Terre quand Hiroya révèle que Tsubaki a menti pour que Mitsuru rentre chez lui, car il mourrait s'il restait. Juste avant de partir, Mitsuru parle à Tsubaki de ses véritables sentiments.
