Jean Gabin is larger than life as the unlikely tramp. He’s carefree but not comfortable. He’s got to find a place to live before winter sets in. His summer residence, on a construction site, just won’t do. He tries to get himself arrested - no better place than prison in the cold. But ends up on the Riviera’s sunny shores.
