Highland Cops

In remote Sutherland, a 32yr-old father of two has been missing for 48 hours. A bushcraft expert, he went out with only a small amount of provisions and the clothes on his back. Britain's most northerly division, N Division patrol a patch the size of Belgium so covering large distances in these cases is a huge challenge.

A man is reported missing in the vast, rural Golspie region. Search dog handler Adam Naismith and his dog Wolf scan the forest and multiple agencies are alerted in attempt to find him before he comes to harm. His vulnerable state puts him at high risk and no stone is left unturned in the search. But three days in, the case takes a turn - he's wanted for questioning by another police force.

On Skye, an experienced hiker has not returned from the top of a mountain -hours overdue, has he come to harm? A multi-agency response of Police, Mountain Rescue and Coastguard are enlisted to find him before the nightfall and fog firmly set in.
