The car of a prominent judge explodes with a body inside of it. The corpse is badly burned and cannot be identified. It is is quite possible, that the victim is the judge, he had many enemies. But when the judge turns up, it is thought that a car thief became an accidental victim. The investigators need to find the person who planned the assassination and establish the identity of the victim.

Interior designer Alena Rozanova is strangled to death in an abandoned palace where a restoration has begun recently. Alena had an appointment with a rich extravagant customer, who turns out to be a fake.
