José is discovered with a strange and deadly disease. Horrified at what the disease has begun to do to his body, he attempts to take his own life. At the moment of pointing a revolver at his mouth, he is shaken by a violent explosion: a bomb has been planted in the vicinity. That night and during the following days he discovers many doubles of his own.
