It's May 1990 in the Manchester suburbs, where five teenage boys dream of indie-rock stardom. They hatch a plan to hand-deliver a demo tape to their idols The Stone Roses at the band's gig at Spike Island. But when their tickets fail to materialize, the lads take extreme measures to sneak their way in.
