Archbishop Desmond Tutu works as president of the Commission for Truth and Reconciliation in post-apartheid South Africa. One of his greatest moral and intellectual challenges is represented by the chance encounter with Piet Blomfeld, a brutal murder from the skin White sentenced to life imprisonment and seeking redemption for the atrocities he committed.
