Pilot Officer Peter Penrose is fresh out of training as he joins his squadron on a British bomber base. He falls madly in love with a young girl who lives at a local hotel. His squadron leader dies in a raid and Peter becomes disillusioned about the prospect of marriage. Can he overcome his emotions and will he finally marry young Iris?
