Joel Bentham is awarded $50,000 as the last surviving Civil War veteran in his part of the country. He plans to put the money to good use, but it doesn't take long for him to get involved with the wrong people. Director John Rawlins gets the best out of a fine cast that includes Robert Wilcox and Clem Bevans, with Harry Davenport as plucky old Bentham.
