Joel is a 16-year-old trans boy who is just beginning drama high school while also facing his transition, which began a few months ago. Hiding his transition process will put his relationship with his drama teacher at risk, the same one who asks all her students to remove all masks. Joel is afraid of not being accepted and of being rejected by Ona, a classmate with whom he has fallen in love.
