Miami, 1974. John Stonehouse's (Matthew Macfadyen) head bobs above the water. Looking back at the beach, he sees his clothes folded up. This is the point of no return.

John Stonehouse, hiding out in Melbourne, draws suspicion from local police. Barbara and Sheila fly to Australia to confront the disappeared MP.

With Wilson's fate still on a knife edge and Barbara wondering if it's worth saving her marriage, Stonehouse and Sheila go on trial to face the consequences of their actions.
