The film is based on the novel of the same name, a bestseller by Sebnem Burcuoglu. This film from Turkey tells how women are taught as children that they have to find a husband. One of these women, thirty-year-old Efsun, is looking for a sincere, true love. But she doesn't show off and she doesn't play the tricks other girls use to win over a man.
