After months of drunken make-outs followed by polite and awkward interactions when sober, Gunnhild decides to find out if there's something more between her and Luna. Sara advises her to hang out while sober and see. Gunnhild tries but gets put off by Luna's spontaneity and shifting mood.

Gunnhild and Luna are successfully hanging out alone and sober. But in public Gunnhild is still unsure where she stands. After a near death experience of the ghost variety, Gunnhild decides life is too short to not ask for some clarification from Luna. At a big concert, she gets the courage to confront her and receives an unexpected answer.

Gunnhild takes her new girlfriend home for winter break and is thrilled to have some privacy finally. However when her parents show up unexpected, it starts a chain of events where Gunnhild at one point gets drunk and accuses Luna of not really wanting to be with her, and that Luna is too cool for her. Luna has enough of it all and leaves.

As Luna has expressed the desire for her to be more direct with how she's feeling, Gunnhild signs up for the poetry workshop hoping to impress Luna. Through the process she tries to find her voice with the help of her best friend. She writes two different poems. The question is, which one is the best to choose in order to impress her girlfriend?

Sara gets an assignment in Drama class that forces her to reckon with her past. As her best friend is busy being in love, Sara tries to go through it alone, ignoring the many people around her that could have helped if she dared to reach out to them. As the assignment creeps closer she has to make a choice whether or not to be honest about her feelings.

Gunnhild gets some disturbing news from a friend that jeopardizes her relationship with Sara. She tries to reach out but can't get a hold of her. When Gunnhild learns Sara has gone home, she tries going after her, but it doesn't play out. Her mission to re-connect with her friend gets side railed by some good news from Luna.

Gunnhild is excited to go to Eid and read her spoken word-poem with Lunas band at their concert. On the way back we learn the night took a bad turn for everyone involved, and a conversation about Gunnhild's mistake escalates to a conversation about their entire relationship, questioning its very existence.

After agreeing to give Luna space to think about their relationship, Gunnhild is miserable. But when she hears that Luna is miserable too she is excited to try. Still angry, Sara gives Gunnhild some bad advice that makes her first attempt at reconciliation with Luna go awry. They end up breaking up for real, making Gunnhild realize that to get through this she needs her best friend back.

After Alex announced he's leaving Sandane this week a war council is gathered. They decide to talk Alex into not leaving by throwing him a surprise going-away-party designed to make him change his mind. When he doesn't show up the party escalates and Gunnhild ends up hooking up with Luna again leaving them fuzzy on where they stand.

When Gunnhild has an unsuccessful run-in with Luna she starts thinking about in what direction to take their relationship if there even is one anymore. Through helping Peter out of an awkward situation and having an unexpected reaction from Luna's very public declaration of love she realizes that what she needs is some time to grow as a person before embarking on the relationship again.
