Kuga moved to Tokyo to start a new life, but after finding a dead body in an elevator and having his sister blow up his apartment. The old life is hard to leave.

Utao can't control her Kakashi. Kyouhei takes her training out in the forest, and takes Hibino with her. Together they try and teach Utao. And then there's an explosion from across the river!"

Aki is captured and taken back to the village. But on the way back, he escapes. Hibino takes Utao to the city, where she and Kukuri cause another panic. Meanwhile, the escaped Aki meets with Kyohei. And Kyojiro from the Hyuga family has come to capture him.

Kuuko is caught up in the fight between Koushiro and Aki. She drags the defeated Aki back to her house to ask him about the Kakashi. When Kyohei sees him there, Aki's words force him into showing his hidden anger to Hibino. As he chases after Aki, a boy appears who looks just like Utao...

With Kukuri damaged, Utao and Kuga have no choice but to return to the village. The mechanics of Kukuri has caught Hibino attention so she has asked to accompany them.

Kyohei takes Kukuri to the Utsuwashi, the clan that repairs the Kakashi. He finds that the Takemikazuchi has been sent their as well. Utao is told by the head of the Kuga clan that Kirio is her younger twin brother. Kirio, who was abused by the Hyuga clan, is taken in by Koushiro. Utao thinks about what she should do to be friends her younger brother.

Kyohei tells Hibino about what happened in Karakami village... A young female teacher, Senou Chihaya, became close to a lonely Aki. But his stepbrother Atsushi wants to make her his own. Chihaya is isolated from the rest of the village for disobeying their rules. Soon after, Chihaya dies protecting Aki from Atsushi's Kuramitsuha. Kuramitsuha was once Aki's, and when he gets it back, disaster...

Utao is excited about her first visit to the beach. But a sudden storm makes the roof at the inn they're staying at leak, and blasts hole in the building, forcing her to use Kukuri to save everyone... One day, Hibino encounters Aki at the library. Utao sees them together, and attacks him with Kukuri. Utao is forced to think about the the meaning of Aki's words: "Our gods are only good for...

Utao is worried about how to see her little brother, but is reassured by news that he wants to see her, too. But their meeting is interrupted by an unexpected visitor, who' got more than a passing interest in Kyohei?

A new Seki has appeared, and she has a giant crush on Kyohei! But she's nasty and mean-tempered to everyone else, and she may just be the most dangerous seki yet. Meanwhile, Aki is called to the offices of a certain diet member, who has big plans for the Kakashi and Karakami Village...

Mahiru is in love with Kyohei, and she'll stop at nothing to get him. And that means that Hibino has to go. So she kidnaps her in broad daylight and takes her to a hidden mansion to interrogate...

Hibino has been kidnapped and is being held in a condo. To get her back, they'll have to fight their way through Mahiru. And when they beat her, the battle's just beginning...
