The B-29 SUPERFORTRESS was the largest long-range bomber of the USA in the Second World War. These aircrafts were also used in the Korean War and carried out areal bombing raids. Due to numerous design flaws, the B-29 was not used in Europe. The defensive capabilities of the Luftwaffe were rated much higher than those of the Japanese air force.
