Communist China have built a doomsday machine that couple destroy planet Earth. United States space program, Project Astra is taken over by the military and its crew half replaced by females. The ship is launched for Venus and soon the reason becomes apparent. The earth is destroyed by the doomsday machine and the crew of Project Astra is the only hope for the survival of the human race.
