Trucks' peak horsepower and torque are added together to determine their rear-wheel-performance total before they each take on the dyno computer in an 18-minute simulated cruise.

Ten reader-selected trucks compete in an obstacle course designed to assess each driver's skill as they navigate a coned-off, CDL-style training circuit while towing a 10,000-pound tractor-carrying trailer.

Ten Diesel Power Challenge 2016 powered by XDP competitors are being put to the test of towing a loaded utility trailer (10,000-pounds) through a single 1/8-mile drag strip pass. The quickest time wins the event!

The trucks go head-to-head on the 1/4-mile drag strip in a Quick-8-style drag race to qualify for the next round.

The competitors drag a pulling sled as far as they can across a hard-packed-mud track for a chance to be named Diesel Power Challenge 2016 Champion.
