Children's laughter in the corridors, a breath of knowledge in the air - a place where peace and quiet reign, a place that offers security. A school should give all this. But instead, we received concerning feedback on our first case and realized that a place that is supposed to protect does not always deliver what it promises.

The tales of this fort and its location reach back many centuries into the past. It towers above the Rhine River high upon a plateau, where once a Carthusian monastery was located. The site has seen the mass murder of the monks as well as many other wars. But no tale could have prepared us for what we actually experienced there.

A place of peace and quiet opens to the visitors of one of the biggest picture bible gardens in Germany with more than 60 chapels and grottos. During the day one walks on paths of faith. But at night a darker world reveals its presence. While other people seek help and guidance at the Chapel of St. Anthony, we found something that might better have remained hidden.

What must it be like to be violently torn from life? What happens to feelings, unfinished business and unspoken words? Do you take all that with you or are you left in limbo along with the grief, anger, or lack of understanding about what happened? These were questions we asked ourselves and tried to find answers to in a house shaken by fate. If walls could talk, what would they have to report?

The late medieval castle towers rest majestically above the river Nette. The venerable walls could tell many stories - of robber barons and their treasures. How did they emerge heroic and victorious from their numerous battles? Was there perhaps a pact with the devil? Dark legends have been carried down to the present day and we follow their traces - an investigation with surprising twists.

Surrounded by tall green trees, black windows stare into the night. So imposing and yet so inconspicuous, the old walls look out onto the busy street of the small town. An old mansion dilapidated and lost - one might think. And yet a haven with an interesting history and incredible activities.

One episode is not enough to tell the story of the "Mansion of Shadows". The minds of Libby and team members are again confronted by inexplicable shadows and eerie feedbacks which turns the night inside manor into an unforgettable challenge.

Some stories never let you go ... The double murder house kept creeping into our minds and left feelings of unease and fear but also curiosity. It's call became louder since a lot of questions still desired an answer. So we decided to return to the place where fate once struck mercilessly. Hoping to solve it's secret before it was lost forever.
