Mehru's wedding date is finalised with a family that admires her modesty. Her fiancé runs into her at a shopping mall along with their mothers but gets a little uncomfortable seeing them with their neighbour.

A joke among Shahjahan's friends goes too far when Naeem sees them teasing Shahjahan for not being able to marry Mehru.

On the wedding night, Mehru's father is rushed to the hospital. She tries to get in contact with Shahjahan but Naeem overhears only half the conversation and makes an impulsive decision.

Mehru breaks down as she informs her parents about her divorce the next day. Shahjahan comes to ask her mother about the issue.

Mehru attempts suicide to avoid her misery. Shahjahan accompanies her father when they go to have a talk with Naeem.

Ayat has secretly developed a soft corner for Shahjahan. This begins to affect her relationship with her elder sister, Mehru.

Mehru asks Shahjahan to maintain a distance. Yet, Ayat asks him to accompany them to the mall, where they cross paths with Naeem.

Naeem picks a fight with Shahjahan. When he comes home furious, Shakeela's son starts a brawl with Naeem.

It is revealed that the girl Shakeela had picked for Naeem was her son's own love interest. Naeem finds that Shakeela never had his best interest at heart.

Naeem realises his fault and seeks forgiveness from Mehru. Shahjahan intervenes at the right time. Ayat fantasizes about the idea of marrying Shahjahan.

Mehru refuses to forgive Naeem and his mother. Shahjahan tries to make Mehru happy.

Mehru gets into real trouble and reaches out to Shahjahan. His mother refuses to empathise with Mehru.

Shahjahan offers to drop Mehru at her friend's wedding. Mehru faces unnecessary humiliation at her friend's wedding.

Mehru accepts the marriage proposal that came earlier for her. Before leaving for America, Naeem gets a chance to warn Shahjahan about the groom's reality.

The preparations for Mehru's wedding are underway however an unexpected intrusion leads to misunderstandings.
