With Bongomia now under Hungarian control, the royal family struggles to adapt to their new circumstances. Assigned to work on a pig farm, Prince teams with Larg, Orion, and Thenio to spark a revolution, while Queen Sion tries to ensure Hasharia's safety.

After Kalesh takes the fall for the failed rebellion, Commander Marton threatens fatal consequences. But before Marton can strike, Sangu arrives with a message from Queen Mary of Hungary that forever changes the fate of Bongomia and its royal family.

When Prince receives a mysterious chest, Hasharia cracks the code to reveal a cryptic hidden message. In Venice, Prince runs into a former classmate, while Van Dijk catches Caren in the Northern Kingdom under unusual circumstances, and Kalesh faces exile.

While the sudden reappearance of Queen Myrin elicits different reactions from her sons, Hasharia learns of Van Dijk's plans to infiltrate the palace. Later, Myrin finally explains why she left Bongomia.

The Venetian Palace stages a major play with Prince's rival Marlowe as the star. But when Prince wins the Queen's favor for the lead role, Marlowe conspires with Senator Cornelius to seek retribution.

After waking up on Van Dijk's ship, Prince is informed of the assassination plot--and the identity of his savior. Meanwhile, Hasharia returns to an abandoned castle, where Larg and Orion inform her of Sion's meeting with the Queen of Hungary.

While Kalesh manages to escape Shimingroff's camp, Prince appears before the Sultan Mehmed, who privately offers him a deal in exchange for locating Vlad Dracula. As Prince weighs the offer, Thenio marries Vivian despite privately mourning Anarkhia.

With Van Dijk and Hasharia in new positions of power, the rest of the royals attempt to convince the others to join their side--until Sangu arrives with shocking news.
