Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club (Original Japanese Version)

The School Idol Club is preparing for their 2nd School Idol Festival as well as the open campus at the school where middle school students interested in Nijigasaki come to visit. They also meet a new student named Lanzhu, who's interested in school idols.

As the girls prepare for the festival, they get a request from Y.G. International Academy to do a joint concert. Emma invites Lanzhu but she declines. Kasumi, Rina, Kanata and Emma follow Lanzhu when they hear she's going to have another surprise concert.

Kasumi, Rina, Kanata, and Emma are excited to perform together, but they're all very different. There isn't much time left before the joint concert, so Rina proposes they all take turns to explain what they want to do, but they still can't seem to agree.

Karin runs into Ai while shopping and is introduced to her "older sister," Misato Kawamoto, who just got out of the hospital. Ai keeps checking on Misato, even though she says she's fine, but Karin notices Misato looking sad, as well.

The 2nd School Idol Festival and the cultural fair are just around the corner and the Drama Club is asked to handle the preshow performance. Shizuku envisions Ayumu and Setsuna in a unit together and tells Yu that she wants to discuss it with her.

For second-year Yu Takasaki, her dreams are your dreams! At Nijigasaki High, Yu has taken a liking to the school idols and takes the leap to joining their club with her friend Ayumu. The goal of this group—come together to make their dreams come true.

The 2nd School Idol Festival finally begins at 5 schools. At Shion Girls' Academy, the girls find a photo of Kaoruko when she was a school idol. They find out Shioriko once dreamed of being a school idol and invite her to join the club, but she declines.

The final day of the 2nd School Idol Festival has arrived. Today, the festival is happening along with Nijigasaki's cultural fair. But Yu still hasn't finished writing the song for the School Idol Club because she wants to make it the best song possible.

The 2nd School Idol Festival came to a successful close. But then Lanzhu tells the girls that she's going to quit being a school idol and head back to Hong Kong. Mia asks her why she's going home, but Lanzhu just says she's done everything she wanted to.
