A car is pushed off a cliff in the middle of night with a burning man inside. Local police investigate and soon find out that the man is a well-known member of the gated community.

A special guest turns up in Jordnära and pressures Maud with an unusual offer. Then, another dead body is found, making the police question the motive. At the same time, the community does its best to cover its tracks.

A partisan starts to plan an escape from the community. Meanwhile, there is something wrong with the water in Jordnära, and the people you thought were your friends suddenly turn their back on you.

Maud is tormented by her past, and she can no longer escape the truth. It's time for her to face her demons. Meanwhile, a suicide is reported in Jordnära. Once again, the police visit the community.
