Grange Hill has merged with it's arch rivals Brookdale and sparks soon fly.

The students concern themselves with the identity of Annette's new boyfriend.

Student's things go missing between the Upper and Lower Schools.

Ronnie loses her tape recorder. Calley employs her new-found hypnotic skills to discover the culprit.

Old allegiances die hard, both in the playground and the staffroom.

Stewpot and Jackie pay the price for two timing. Meanwhile, Zammo feels victimised.

Calley is horrified to discover that she is adopted and the routine of the school is disrupted by the arrival of a group of French exchange students.

Gonch and Hollo manage to get away from school on the false pretext of dental appointments. Calley finds herself confronted by her real mother and foster mother.

Gonch's schemes hit a few snags. He and Hollo are in for a nasty shock at the dump.

Henry the mannequin joins class E1 and causes nothing but trouble for Gonch.

The French students still occupy Grange Hill. Meanwhile, Gonch and Hollo have bugged the staff room.

Rehearsals for the new musical continue but there is trouble between Banksie and Zammo.

Gonch retrieves his Walkman from the staffroom. Eric gets knocked over by car and problems arise when Annette, Fay and Jean-Paul babysit at the McCartneys.

Banksie's brother has a car and N4 plan a joy ride in it.

There is a demo outside the school about the safety of children crossing the road. Meanwhile, Mr Bronson's toupee is stolen.

The French exchange students depart and Roland goes with them.

N4 sit their exams. E1 try to re-stage the school musical and Mr Bronson gets back his hairpiece.

It's the end of the school year and the Brighton Rock musical brings the house down.
