Bud has lost his right lower leg due to a mine in Afghanistan; during emergency surgery he faces bad trouble. Sturgis returns to Washington, and Harm and Mac disobey an order from the admiral. Bud encounters an astounding change of course.

In the West Bank, after seeking and successfully taking out a hidden hostile, Corporal Mars, a soldier with the Israeli army, is arrested for deserting the U.S. Marines. Harm and Mac defend Mars and put Cmdr. Turner and Lt. Singer on the prosecution.

A married couple are fighting and suddenly you can hear two gun shots. Inside the house, a woman lies dead on the floor with a knife in her hand. Her husband, a marine, stands above her holding a gun.

Lt. Albrecht and Lt. Cmdr. Zuzello make Zuzello’s farewell flight before he retires. Albrecht notices that his partner is passed out from hypoxia. Albrecht makes an emergency landing on the ship. Harm is sent to the ship to investigate.

Cmdr. O’Neil hounds Lt. Kersey during a mission. She gives him a hard time, barking orders over his shoulder. The mission is completed, but the young Lt. accuses his Cmdr. of sexual harassment.

As a favor from Congresswoman Lillian Dorning, SECNAV Sheffield asks the JAG staff to get the story of a submarine, USS Angel Shark (SSGN-559), which was lost on a CIA mission in 1968.

A general stands trial for alleged disobedience and reckless endangerment during a war game. Sturgis prosecutes, Harm defends, and Mac sits on the bench. A piece of evidence turns up at the 11th hour.

A fatal flight deck incident aboard the Seahawk prompts Singer to instigate court-martial proceedings despite resistance from her captain. Harm and Mac are called in to check out her findings and investigate the captain’s curious charges against.

On assignment in Naples, Harm and Manetti work with Interpol to determine the identity of a serial killer who is believed to be a U.S. sailor aboard the USS Gillcrist.

Christmas Eve finds the Roberts preparing to host a dinner party with Harriet ill. Mac awaiting the arrival of three Saudis who don’t observe the holiday and Harm getting way laid trying to fly an F-14 home in time for the dinner.

A highly decorated, well-respected general’s daughter dies during a routine operation and Mac and Harm must determine if her death was a result of malpractice. Bud waits for the news about being re-instated.

After a lieutenant leaves the Navy when a whistleblower for an allegedly faulty, new high-tech system, Mac makes some unsettling discoveries about his motives.
