Anu (Reema Sen) and Chanti (Uday Kiran) are childhood friends who part ways. When Chanti's mother passes away, he is adopted by Mohan Rao (Chandra Mohan) and is renamed as Venu. Anu returns to India after her higher studies and starts writing a series named 'Manasantha Nuvve' hoping to find Chanti. The rest of Manasantha Nuvve is about how Chanti and Anu unite.
