Talented artist Vgly struggles to break into the music business ... but an unexpected tragedy might change everything.

After putting together a crew, Vgly runs into trouble at his first gig at Sneakerfest.

When Vgly's impersonation unfortunately catches the eye of pop star Triana's manager IO, Bubble resorts to extreme measures to salvage his reputation. Meanwhile, Vgly decides to start a rap beef after discovering Lil Vato stole his bars.

With Bubble injured, the crew decides to lay low and focus on making Vgly's newest video ... which leads to creative disagreements between him and Data. Meanwhile, Bubble hatches a potential scheme with his hospital roommate.

With cash in hand, Vgly and his crew are on top of the world ... but still need to convince singer Trippy Bachas into collaborating on a song.

When Vgly suffers a creative block, Bubble takes the crew to find inspiration -- with the help of mushrooms. In the woods, Vgly has a spiritual encounter, Bubble runs into trouble and Flex and Data draw closer together.

During Vgly’s music video shoot, a sleep-deprived and stressed Data clashes with the crew, while Flex tries to bargain with the neighbors. Later, Triana shows up on set after receiving a message from Vgly.

With a showcase slot at Emotion Plaza looming over them, Data and Flex prove to be distractions to one another, Vgly spends more time with Triana, and Bubble’s drug problem worsens as he tries to get Trippy to sign release forms.

After Ceviches kidnaps them to write him a song for his birthday, Vgly comes clean to Bubble about how he got the cash. Meanwhile, Data’s efforts to cheer Flex up erupt into chaos.

Flex and Data keep their new relationship a secret from Vgly, who still hasn’t told them about his encounter with Ceviches. As the crew fractures at Trippy’s party, Vgly makes a drastic decision to pay Ceviches back.

After coming clean to Flex and Data, Vgly deals with the fallout. Later, Bubble seeks out IO for help, and Vgly apologizes to Triana before a violent confrontation breaks out with Ceviches’ henchmen.

Following Vgly’s disappearance, the crew disbands, until Data, Bubble, and Flex team up on a last-ditch attempt to lure their leader back into the public eye ... by publishing his music video “posthumously.”

Vgly returns with nothing to lose, but the consequences of his lies and debts finally catch up to him.
