The Yorkshire Vet

Peter has an emergency at the practice in Kirkbymoorside, when a local farming couple rush in their pregnant Texel ewe. Julian operates on a terrier suffering with bladder stones. Peter visits the Green's farm to see a lonely donkey.

Peter battles to deliver lambs who are jumbled up and stuck inside their mum, and he is shocked by what he finds. Julian has to contend with an angry parrot that has escaped in the surgery. A rescue dog is attacked by another dog.

A rare-breed pony is in danger when she suffers a prolapsed uterus after giving birth. Julian has a plan to fix a Great Dane's debilitating knee injury. Peter treats a pig that lives in the back garden of the owner of the local chip shop.

Julian visits house pig Pigley Scott, who has had a horse tread on his trotter. Father and son farmers are worried about Roger, their prize bull, who has a large lump on his neck that may be a tumour.

Julian rushes Walter the shih-tzu into surgery after the dog has broken its jaw in a freak accident. Peter operates on a horse called Sammy. Matt needs to take drastic action to help a dairy cow. Shona and Matt meet the vets of tomorrow.

Julian needs as many extra pairs of hands as he can muster as he has to perform a caesarean section on a pregnant Great Dane. Later, young vet Matt marries his fiancee Katherine in front of all of his veterinary friends.

As night falls, Matt rushes out to help a young farmer's pregnant sheep whose life is in danger. Peter treats Jean Green's trusty old rescue dog Reuben, who's couch bound with arthritis.
