When the London branch of JLB goes under right after Mark's promoted and gets Jeremy a job there, Mark leads a campaign to get everyone their jobs back. He's the voice of the people- until he's offered a big check to settle the workers down.

While waiting for the results of Sophie's paternity test, the boys make moves on their respective love interests- Mark on Dobby and Jez on Elena, the beautiful Russian woman in their building.

Mark tries to temper Jez's growing passion for Elena, but Jez is hopelessly in love. Meanwhile, Mark takes Dobby's advice and tries his hand at being a history walk tour guide.

When Mark overhears Elena on the phone with her partner, he gives Jez the devastating news. Jez recovers, though, when he learns Elena's partner is a woman, which, in his mind, opens up a slew of sexy possibilities. Mark's excited when Alan Johnson invites him to join his new business, but starts to worry about Alan's sanity.

Mark organizes a party at their flat in an attempt to win over Dobby, and Jez uses the opportunity to try and spark some jealousy in Elena.

Now that he's going to be a father, Mark's going to have to step up. Sophie convinces him to learn to drive for then the baby comes, but it proves to be a difficult task. Jez meanwhile plots to sabotage Gail and Elena's impending marriage.
