Pamplona (Spain), 1973. Eusebio Luquin, a police inspector whose maxim rule in life is that work never takes away his sleep, has to solve the rape and murder of a young woman nearby the military barracks. Theses do not offer much support in a police case where some are silent and the others do not ask.
