A small Donegal town is upended when the body of a woman missing for 15 years is found in a bog. Meanwhile, as small-time journalist Ciara-Kate hopes the investigation will catapult her career, Conall, a local Garda, is barred from working the case.

As Sabine's funeral takes place, suspicion falls on her son Conall and husband Art. Convinced that Sabine had an affair, Ciara-Kate decides to investigate. Conall is determined to get the truth about his father until a ghost from his past returns.
