Filmmaker couple Chris and Tony retreat to Fårö island for the Summer to write in the same place Bergman lived and found inspiration. As both work on their scripts, souvenirs of Chris' first love resurface. However, soon the lines between fiction and reality begin to blur and tear them apart.
