The team becomes embroiled in a messy situation when a clean-cut fast food chain purchases the Bulls. The players concoct a plan for the team to become joint owners of the team themselves, leading to divisive reactions amongst personnel. Separately, one of the most infamously sleazy sports agents gets in the middle of the various personalities on the roster as he tries to appease the players.

The Bulls roster attempts to get a grip on their shenanigans in order to spearhead a successful and tasteful ownership of their beloved team, but things get more complicated than they would've thought. In general, the future turns murky as the entire organization struggles to adapt to their new arrangement.

Pandemonium ensues when the draft ensues, leading to speculation and paranoia that some of the Bulls' most beloved personalities are on the trading block. They realize they may be in over their heads when there is distracting anxiety breathing down their necks the night before and morning of the draft, and the various teams in play taking advantage of the first time owners isn't helping.

The questionable choices of the Bulls catch up with them, as Mad Dog realizes he made a promise to an aspiring cheerleader he was unauthorized to make. T.D. attempts to recruit a former player to join the coaching staff. Coach Ernie's return is a widely celebrated, but with much hanging on the line, the players' personal issues start bubbling to the surface.

The players' unpredictable yet hilarious antics continue when the group tries to make sense of their new roles as players within the Dodds Corporation ownership of the beloved franchise. Mad Dog gets caught in a series of lies, Joe comes into harsh proximity with one of the new owners and his classist prejudices, and a prank involving a rookie and a live bull goes awry.

After getting a concussion from multiple hits on the field, the Bulls' quarterback fantasizes that his coach's colorful halftime pep talk is actually from a Vietnam War general amping up his troops for a major battle. The various players, managers, and coaches assume the roles of various military personnel, dutifully marching into a proverbial fight to obtain that victory by any means necessary.

A slew of relationship dramas plague the Bulls players, with T.D. attempting to court the league's first female player, and Cooper realizing the woman he is having an affair with is married to the team sponsor's president/ What proceeds is an on-field brawl, and off-field brawl, the first NFL play featuring a female player, and tons of hilarious miscommunications and lessons.

Both the Bulls organization and their sponsor's corporation are embroiled in a public controversy when the head coach is purported in the media to have made a racist statement, though the allegations are embellished and misrepresented at best. Meanwhile, Dr. Death becomes an unlikely father figure when one of his lover's children reveals to be abused.

The roster of the 1987 California Bulls reunite to take a legacy group photo, although the futuristic dystopia they currently inhabit has proven to be consequential, albeit plateaued and depressing than the one they played in. With Jethro facing a standoff that might turn fatal, the rest of the guys must decide what steps they can take to return him to civility and sanity.

The Bulls face a series of personal predicaments, with Bubba being locked out of his fumigated home, Ernie reconnecting with a former flame who turns out to be wrapped up in an inescapable football gambling horror, and a player on the chopping block whose good looks have attracted T.D. The various personalities attempt to overcome their off-field dilemmas while continuing their unbeaten record.

The team adjusts to having a famous track star joining the team, much to the chagrin of an aging wide receiver whose job may be on the line with the new addition. Tensions rise among Bubba, T.D., King, and their wives. A series of unfaithful moments by the main men of the Bulls test the resilience of the team, bringing them bittersweet reconciliation at the end of it all.

With their perfect season on the line, the team places an accentuated emphasis on the coming weekend's big game, even as Dr. Death juggles taking care of a young abandoned boy, Jethro and Bubba cater to a disgruntled chef's needs, and more. Making matters worse is a shady pair of Miami-based gamblers set on sabotaging the Bulls' operation from the inside-out.

As the Bulls take a team flight to their next destination, they each mull over their fears and paranoias to hopefully keep their chances for a championship alive. Sparks fly with the ownership representatives fighting for the upper hand in negotiations, two players fighting over the so-called rights to the irresistible stewardess, and more hilarious butting heads at 30,000 feet off the ground.
