The events surrounding Goro's disappearance twelve years ago have come to be known as the 828 Incident. A girl named Eko has developed an unusually strong interest in the topic, and her desire to learn more takes her to some unexpected places.

Lall remembers Goro, but he appears to have been erased from nearly everyone else's memories. Ryo suggests to Eko that she befriend Lall and help her navigate the upcoming KamiErabi battles, an idea to which Eko reluctantly agrees.

Lall's next KamiErabi match is against Honoka, but Honoka has apparently had a change of heart during the past twelve years. She might not even be willing to fight unless she's offered a compelling reason.

Lall is on a mission to resurrect Goro so he can win the KamiErabi and become God. She and Eko seek out Iyo, hoping her powers might prove useful. But Iyo has a lot going on in her own life at the moment, so will she be able to help?

Akitsu used his powers to undo the carnage inflicted by the mysterious Death Spreader, but all that did was literally buy everyone some time. Ryo once again invites Lall and Eko to work with Gozekai toward uncovering the mysteries behind the KamiErabi.

Chika has been comatose ever since the 828 Incident twelve years ago, and her friend Ryo has faithfully taken care of her all that time. But with the Death Spreader on the move again, will it be too late even if she does wake up?

The Death Spreader seems hopelessly unbeatable, so the God candidates use a combined attack to seal him away in one of Ryo's parallel worlds. Within it, he shows Lall and Kyo his memories of how KamiErabi first came to be--including who created it.

Higaki reveals to Lall and Kyo some game-changer secrets about the KamiErabi and the very nature of the world. A race against time then begins as both the parallel world they're inside and the world from which they came begin to collapse.

Lall remonte de justesse dans le wagon grâce à l’aide inattendue de Kyô, mais le monde dans lequel ils se trouvent continue de s’écrouler. Leur seul moyen de s’en sortir serait de se fier à leur ennemi juré, Higaki. Du côté des autres candidats, la situation n’est guère plus reluisante. Leur hélicoptère subit des attaques ininterrompues qui leur laissent peu d’espoir de survie.

Les candidats sont parvenus jusqu’à l’édifice où se trouve l’IA à l’origine de la Divine Sélection. Désormais, ils doivent faire face à Eko. Celle-ci ne tarde pas à leur révéler sa véritable identité, ce qui plonge la bande dans l’incompréhension et le désespoir. Une ultime bataille s’engage, mais les pouvoirs divins des candidats paraissent bien dérisoires face à ce qui les attend.

Goro has returned, but he doesn't seem to understand who Eko is or grasp the weighty situation he's now in. Will some advice and assistance from his long-suffering friends lead him to do what needs to be done?

Gorô est bien décidé à créer un monde où tout serait normal, mais Lall le met en garde. Avant ça, il est indispensable qu’il fasse la rencontre d’une personne dont le monde a besoin. Pour espérer avoir une chance de vaincre Eko, il ne reste plus à Gorô qu’à affronter son passé et à se souvenir de ce qu’est son véritable souhait.
