The Street

Joe Jennerson (David Thewlis) envies his identical twin brother, who has the freedom of a comfortable bachelor lifestyle funded by a generous army pension.

Eddie's wife (Ger Ryan) discovers a lump on her breast, but Eddie is in no state to recognise her trauma.

Demolition man Charlie (Vincent Regan) is married with teenaged kids. When he must spend time away from home for his latest job, he struggles to resist the advances of a gay colleague (Will Mellor).

After a pub crawl, cousins Gary (Kieran Bew) and Ian (Matt Smith) become involved in an altercation with a taxi driver. Gary runs away before he is caught, leaving Ian to be arrested.

Postman Wayne Taylor (Mark Benton) turns to stealing from his customers after falling on hard times. Confronted by teenage truant Damien, Wayne suggests that the boy helps him on his round.

Paul (Toby Kebbell) is gradually trying to find his way back into the world after being released from prison.
