Following her husband's death, single mom Cindy finds love again with Randy, but wedded bliss soon turns dark when she sees his other side. Cindy drowns on a trip with Randy and the kids. Randy orders her cremation, takes custody of her kids and tries to collect on her life insurance policy. Her best friend Lori investigates and finds Cindy may not have been the first wife murdered at his hands.
