On this planet shaped like giant made of stone, the Bodiz are in charge of the ecosystem. They take care of this huge body, which provides them with water, warmth and an atmosphere. Lately, however, the giant is unwell, he is running a temperature and on the planet, drought and unpredictable earth quakes are jeopardizing the Bodiz’s existence.

The inhabitants of planet Coppelius chronically lose all color and they all turn white. But once a year, Coppelius color everyone up during the colorwashing ceremony so that everyone keeps his/her own distinctive complexion. But as the Little Prince sets foot on the planet, Coppelius spends all his time on his “great project”and seems to neglect the preparation of the colourwashing ceremony.
