In London, preparations are underway for the funeral of the Prime Minister, who has died under suspicious circumstances. US secret service agent Mike Banning learns of a terrorist plot to kill the most powerful world leaders as they attend the ceremony, and is forced to team up with a hard-boiled MI6 agent in order to thwart the plan and avert imminent disaster.
