Described by Quentin Tarantino as ‘the greatest Italian noir of all time’, Milano Calibro 9 is the first chapter of the so-called Milieu Trilogy directed by Fernando Di Leo. The film takes its title from the collection of short stories by Giorgio Scerbanenco, whose vision of a harsh and violent Milan the director re-proposes.
