Rides with Jay Thomas

On this week's episode, Jay shows us two rare Hudson Hornets, a collection of every version ever made of the Arctic Cat Mini Bikes, and we check out a rebuilt fire truck that is now a full-blown Bison football tailgating vehicle - built-in grill and bar stools included.

This week we get to check out a matchbox car come to life, a retro Dodge Challenger that we hung the nickname Street Freak on. This Challenger has it all: psychedelic, multi-colored paint job, gorgeous interior, and a 340 engine that keeps this ride road-worthy and ready to roll!

This week, we see a 1951 Ford farm truck...that has 2000 horses under the hood! 'The Mutt' has a reputation in drag racing circles across the country. Oh, and did we mention that sometimes owner Mike Qualley does wheelies in it...that get all four wheels off the ground?

In 1975, Richard Halvorson bought himself a high school graduation present: a 1969 GTO Judge with about 40,000 miles on it. In this episode of "Rides with Jay Thomas," we meet Richard and see how he has restored "The Judge" to showroom condition.

On this episode, Jay is joined by Rachel De Barros of the TV show "All Girls Garage," and they check out a beautiful Cadillac called Gambler, a 1959 Nash Metropolitan, a 1970 Ford Torino, and a 1951 Mercury with a custom paint job.

A custom 1993 Harley-Davidson Softail that is a tribute to Heath Ledger's Joker. We were there the first time this bike was shown in public and it is a work of art. If your passion is bikes or movies, or both, you're in for a treat.

On this episode of Rides with Jay, we meet Mel Grile and what he calls his "One of One." Similar cars have sold at auction for close to a million dollars. Mel's car is probably worth more than any of them. Then, Jay meets with the lieutenant of the Red River Valley SWAT team to check out a Lenco BearCat they've had since 2009. Jay rides in the BearCat with SWAT team leader Craig Danielson.

On this week's Rides with Jay Thomas, we meet up with Greg Adams and check out his Shelby Mustangs. These are two very unique, but very different cars. One is a rare 1969 GT500 convertible in beautiful shape, the other a very valuable barn find that started out as a Hertz rental car.

We check out Mitch Rapp's pro street 1968 Chevy Nova SS. Then, Jay heads to South Dakota to check out David Braun's tractor and car collections. He has John Deere tractors dating all the way back to 1935. And finally, we check out a garage that's like taking a quick trip to Ireland. Dave and Louise Kelly Solum sit down with Jay inside Mangy McRay's Irish Pub.

We follow a custom truck build from start to finish with our friends from the Hot Rod Shop. We'll look at Jayson Ackerson's 1970 Volkswagen, he's had it since high school and he has transformed it into one beautiful bug. Finally, we check out a garage that's more like a racing museum.
