시즌 2・Surf Girls: International follows five upcoming female surfers as they compete in the Challenger Series. They travel all over the world, representing their home countries while striving to get on the World Surf Tour. To develop as surfers they must overcome their own personal struggles, and deal with the challenges of the international spotlight. 

시즌 1・'아우터뱅크스' 크리에이터가 만든 '런어라운드'는 고등학교를 갓 졸업한 청춘들이 자신들 앞에 놓인 평범한 미래를 벗어나기 위해 밴드를 결성하는 과정을 다룬다. 밴드는 여름 동안 큰 성공의 기회와 거의 불가능에 가까운 꿈을 추구하는 과정에서 사랑과 곤경에 빠진다.
