Raja stops a marriage due to dowry issues and convinces the groom to proceed. Mr. Ghoshal seeks revenge, tricks Raja into transferring property, making them beggars. Despite torture and insults, Raja forgives Ghoshal's family for Pooja's sake. Pooja's husband tries to harm her and the baby; Raja's brothers save them. Ghoshal apologizes; all reconcile.
