Langris, le vice-capitaine de l'Aube d'or, hésite à reprendre son rôle au sein de la compagnie. Il veut d'abord s'expliquer avec Yuno.

Tous les Chevaliers-Mages sélectionnés pour l'entraînement au royaume de Heart sont arrivés à bon port. Leur répartition entre les cinq gardiens peut commencer

L'entraînement au royaume de Heart se poursuit avec ardeur. Yami lui aussi trouve un moyen d'améliorer ses capacités avec une aide inattendue. Malheureusement, le royaume de Spade se prépare aussi à l'affrontement.

Pendant que tout le monde se démène au royaume de Heart et au royaume de Clover pour dépasser ses limites, Asta raconte à Gadjah comment il en est arrivé à son niveau actuel en partant de rien.

Après leur entraînement, les Chevaliers-Mages qui sont partis au royaume de Heart sentent qu'ils ont beaucoup progressé. Mais ils sont sur le point de découvrir une partie des intentions du royaume de Spade.

Six mois ont passé dans le royaume de Heart, et grâce à leur entraînement, les Chevaliers-Mages de Clover ont remporté une première bataille. Pour autant, il ne faut pas se laisser aller, comme Charmy qui fait des siennes.

Ralph est enfin arrivé à Hadge pour trouver Yuno et lui raconter ce qu'il sait de lui. Pendant ce temps, la Triade sombre fait aussi route vers Clover.

Yuno arrive enfin au quartier général de l'Aube d'or, mais il n'y trouve que désolation. Il va toutefois tenter de se dépasser pour venir en aide aux quelques survivants en affrontant les lieutenants de Zenon.

Pendant que Lolopechka surveille tout le royaume de Heart pour savoir quand les ennemis attaqueront, Dante, de la Triade sombre, part à la recherche de Yami, mais tombe sur les autres membres du Taureau noir.

Dante poursuit son combat contre Asta, Yami se montre enfin, Grey se découvre un nouveau pouvoir, et Luck affronte un adversaire bien plus fort que lui.

Pendant que Dante explique ses projets à Yami, Charmy affronte Halbet, et Leo combat Sivoir, tous deux disciples de la Triade sombre.

C'est au tour de Vanika et de ses sbires de s'attaquer au cœur du royaume de Heart, en la personne de Lolopechka. Mais celle-ci a su progresser en s'entourant de Noelle, Mimosa et Nero.

Lolopechka se souvient du temps passé avec Ondine à ses côtés pendant que le combat suit son cours. De son côté, Yami continue d'exploser ses limites pour tenter de vaincre Dante.

Alors que Vanika décide de n'en faire qu'à sa tête, Asta doit trouver une solution pour que son démon lui prête sa force afin d'aider Yami à vaincre Dante.

Après la fin des combats, les survivants se regroupent à Clover pour panser leurs blessures. Asta se réveille avec l'envie d'en découdre, mais il tombe nez à nez avec un personnage qu'il ne connaît pas.

Pendant que Noelle et ses équipiers retrouvent leurs esprits, Asta a hâte de partir s'entraîner pour maîtriser le pouvoir de son démon.

Asta doit maintenant affronter son démon pour l'asservir. Celui-ci se souvient des épreuves qu'il a dû endurer avant de rencontrer Asta.

Asta and the other Magic Knights chosen to train in the Heart Kingdom are joined by Magna and they finally start their training under Loropechika and the Spirit Guardians of Lightning, Earth, Plants, Fire, and Wind and Undine. Since Asta has no magic to begin with, he ends up sparring with Gaja, the Spirit Guardian of Lighting. They Magic Knights all work harder to surpass their limits.

While Asta and the others were training in the Heart Kingdom, back in the Clover Kingdom, Yami asked Mereoleona to help him train. They start their training immediately and Yami is no match against Mereoleona who is a master at using Mana Zone. Meanwhile, the Spade Kingdom's forces continues to draw nearer as it continues its invasion...

Months after arriving at the Heart Kingdom, Asta still doesn't have any magic, but he's become more powerful at an alarming speed due to his training with the Spirit Guardians. Anti-magic is one of the magic attributes that falls into the "Arcane Stage" and is needed to defeat the devil. And because of that, Gaja asks Asta how exactly he obtained the five-leaf grimoire...

The Spade Kingdom successfully takes over the Diamond Kingdom and then sets their sights on the Clover Kingdom and Heart Kingdom. The Spade Kingdom troops get through the strong magic region using a mobile fortress which sucks up the mana of the Spade Kingdom citizens who were taken by force. But then Asta, who had finished his training with the Spirit Guardians, comes to the rescue! Meanwhil...

For some reason, Charmy, who had tagged along with Asta and the others to train in the Heart Kingdom, keeps trying to eat up all of the food in the Heart Kingdom. Asta tries to take her back and goes to the forest Charmy is last seen. However, Charmy had also trained with the Spirit Guardians and had become even more powerful. Asta and Yuno were abandoned in front of the church in Hage Village, a village in the outskirts of the Clover Kingdom. And now, we finally find out the truth behind Yuno's birth! Meanwhile, while Vice Captain Yuno was away, the Golden Dawn's headquarters was attacked by the Spade Kingdom. Despite being the most powerful squad out of the Magic Knights, they might have finally met their match.

After hearing about the Golden Dawn members being in trouble, Yuno hurries back. When he returned, their headquarters had been destroyed and many of the squad members were near death. Yuno's rage explodes. Meanwhile, the members who can still fight are doing their best to hold up against the attackers that includes one of the members of the Dark Triade, Zenon, and his minions.
