You Shall Not Lie

Ivan’s recent death has all the inhabitants of Belmonte on the edge of their seats. For their part, Macarena and Ana protect themselves from the secret that unites them; they killed and disposed of the body of Nestor, Ivan’s confessed murderer, and who continues at large.

It soon becomes official that a body has been found in the burnt down cabin. Although the DNA tests need to confirm it, everything points to it being the body of Nestor. Macarena and Ana don’t understand what’s going on. They threw the body down that quarry, what happened? Maybe somebody moved it? But some flashbacks reveal that Macarena is not being entirely honest with her friend Ana.

Macarena, tirelessly searching for her daughter, reunites with her mother and has a conversation with her that makes her reflect on her life. Some flashbacks reveal that Nestor wasn’t dead and that he confessed the truth to Macarena and Sergio, putting the two siblings at a crossroads.

Macarena, Ana and Yolanda meet after what happened and start a conversation in which all their secrets come to light. Each one confesses their truth. But is everything they say true? A talk that turns everything upside down. Macarena and Ana come together to devise a plan that will save them from going to jail for all their crimes.

Maite informs Macarena and Natalia that they have found Nestor’s lifeless body in the quarry. But, whose is the corpse with lime that was in the hole in the cabin? In the flashbacks we discover that apart from Nestor and Macarena, someone else appeared in the cabin… Is that the dead person in the hole?

At the police station, Macarena tells Maite everything that happened. She herself saw how Yolanda killed Nestor and Natalia confessed to Ivan’s murder. Although Macarena’s statement is forceful, the versions told by the others and all the evidence point to her.
